Naagin 6: Is Bigg Boss 15 contestant Tejashwi Prakash the new ‘Naagin’ of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show?

Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show ‘Naagin’ is all set to make a comeback on the small screen! The same has been announced a while back which has left fans wondering who will be the lead actress in ‘Naagin 6’. Well, as per the latest buzz, it is none other than Tejashwi Prakash. Yes this is true! The much-awaited revelation will be made by the makers of the show during the finale of Bigg Boss 15 and the details of the same were shared on the channel’s official Instagram handle. Not only this but the latest report states that the actress will be informed about the same tonight.

An India Today report said, “BB 15 finalist Tejasvi Prakash has been roped in to play the role of Naagin. He will be called to the confession room where Bigg Boss will share the news with him.”

Meanwhile, the caption written alongside the promo of Naagin 6 read, “Bigg Boss ka grand finale hoga aur bhi special jab janta ke saamne aayegi pehli baar #Naagin dene apne roop ka parichay #Naagin6 Don’t miss out the spectacular #BB15GrandFinale tonight at 8PM onwards only on #ColorsTV.”

The fuel in the fire was added through several comments from fans, who thought the promo had Hath Teja. Not only this, actress Amrita Khanvilkar also wrote, “And why do I think she is Teja Hai Vohu.”

Earlier, a report in ETimes stated that the makers were keen to cast Tejashwi as the lead Naagin and were waiting for Bigg Boss to end. It said, “We are looking forward to casting Tejasswi in Naagin 6. She is among the top contenders of the show and has become a household name with her stint in the reality show. The logistics are being worked out. We are big. Waiting for the boss to finish in two weeks and for him to come out so we can discuss the offer with him.”

However, TV actress Ekta Kapoor informed everyone that till now no one has confirmed through Instagram post. Along with one of the promos, she wrote, “Not cast yet for #NAGIN6! Asking all you guys for your suggestions! Just recovered from COVID, but some admitting to bad muscle cramps and stomach infection Heard names that ‘confirmed’! Hey brother/sister no names. r even contacted or accepted! ur suggestions guys!”

Talking about the previous Naagins, several actresses have played the role- Mouni Roy, Adah Khan, Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Nia Sharma and Surbhi Chandna.
