‘Na Bole Tum’ actress Akanksha Singh’s father passes away a day after her birthday

MumbaiPopular TV actress Akanksha Singh, who has successfully forayed into South cinema, took to social media to inform her fans about her father’s demise. His father Dr. Gyan Prakash Singh passed away on Saturday (July 31). The “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha” actress requested her fans to pray for her father and family members.

“Deeply saddened to inform that my father Dr Gyan Prakash Singh breathed his last today. Please keep her and our family in your prayers,” Akanksha said in a post on Instagram.

Simple Kaul, Shardul Pandit and other celebs commented on the post expressing grief over the demise of their father. Fans have flooded their messages in the comment section as well.

Akanksha’s father left for her heavenly abode on July 30, a day after her 31st birthday. Several celebs including Kichha Sudeepa took to social media to wish the actress on her special day.

Akanksha became a household name after playing the role of Megha in ‘Na Bole Tum’ that aired on Colors channel. Due to popular demand the makers had to launch a new season. Her sizzling chemistry with co-star Kunal Karan Kapoor grabbed the attention of many. The talented actress made her debut in Telugu films with ‘Malli Raava’.

On the professional front, the ‘Gulmohar Grand’ actress will next be seen in ‘Mayday’. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.
