Mysore: Organs harvested from two brain-dead persons gave new life to 14 others. The bodies of a 40-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, including the kidneys, heart valves and cornea, were harvested from 14 organs, which were brought to the hospital. Apollo Hospital on 16 August.

Of the 14 organs harvested from two people, two livers and an equal number of kidneys were transplanted to patients at Apollo Hospitals, while the remaining organs were sent to other hospitals. Reddy praised the families of the two patients whose organs have benefited 14 others.
