Chennai: Minor reshuffle in top bureaucracy Tamil Nadu Government appointed on Saturday N Muruganandam as Principal Secretary, Finance Department, replacing Additional Chief Secretary S Krishnani. Krishnan will now head the Industries Department.
An order to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu.
Former Additional Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office, P Amudha has been posted as Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department in place of K Gopal, who has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Transport Department.
Additional Chief Secretary Sandeep Saxena will now head the Water Resources Department, which has been separated from the Public Works Department by the DMK regime.
Dayanand Kataria has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department.
