Mumbai University has started accepting applications for undergraduate programs at the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Candidates who meet the requirements can apply on the official website, mu.ac.in. August 30 is the deadline for the applicants to apply for their preferred courses.

This year, Mumbai University will accept applications for distance learning of UG courses including the first year of BA, first year of BCom, first-year BCom in (Accounting & Finance), first year of BSc (Information Technology), and first year of B.Sc (Computer. Science)

Mumbai CDOE UG Admission: Steps to Apply

Step 1. Go to the official website of Mumbai CDOE, idoloa.digitaluniversity.ac

Step 2. Navigate to the admissions section of the Mumbai University Distance Education website

Step 3. Using your phone number and email address, create an account

Step 4. Fill out the application by entering your personal and academic information

Step 5. Upload the necessary scanned files as required

Step 6. Depending on the course, pay the required amount

Step 7. After checking your information, submit the application

Step 8. For future use, keep the application form and fee receipt

Candidates who are being admitted for the first time to undergraduate programmes at CDOE have to register freshly from the official link. Applicants must note that Government scholarships are also available for the various programmes for students belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/VJ-NT/SBC) and they should check the rules and other admission details on the official website.

Candidate should note that CDOE Regional Centers and Study Material Collection Centers are located at Churchgate, Thane, Kalyan, Ratnagiri, and Sawantwadi (Sindhudurg). Detailed addresses are available on the website. CDOE Regional Centers offer counseling, guidance, and study material distribution from 10:20 AM to 6 PM on working days. A new CDOE Regional Center in Palghar is proposed and will start soon.

Distance and Open Learning is a unique method of educating students who are geographically or chronologically separated from their instructors or educational institutions due to social, cultural, or economic factors. The University of Mumbai recognised the need for this kind of approach and in 1971–1972 created the Directorate of Correspondence Courses.
