Mumbai: Witnessing another slight drop in the daily Covid-19 caseload, Mumbai on Wednesday reported 6,032 new infections, after reporting 6,149 cases a day earlier.
As per the latest figures, the active caseload in the financial capital now stands at 31,856 and the cumulative Covid tally has reached the 10,17,999 mark.

The city also recorded 12 Covid-related deaths and 18,241 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the daily Covid death toll rose slightly as compared to the count of seven on Tuesday.
The latest updated bulletin released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s health department showed that 538 people were admitted to hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of hospitalizations in the city to 5,038.
