Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday raided a party aboard a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. According to sources close to ABP News, the drug enforcement agency has detained at least 10 people.

Illegal drugs like cocaine, hashish and others were found during a raid on the Empress ship of the Cordelia cruise liner.

Sources have also informed that the son of a Bollywood superstar was also among those taken into custody during the raid.

After receiving a tip-off, the NCB officials entered the ship disguised as passengers and then conducted raids. The party is said to be high-profile as the cost of entry for such parties on the ship is around Rs 80,000.

The ship was to leave for Goa on Saturday. Those detained will be brought to Mumbai on Sunday for further questioning.

This comes a day after the NCB busted another international drug smuggling racket, confiscating a consignment of drugs bound for Australia via Hyderabad to Mumbai.

The brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend has also been arrested by the NCB for the third time in two years for possessing drugs.

NCB regional director for Mumbai and Goa Sameer Wankhede said three others were also arrested in two other raids by the agency during the series of raids in Goa in the last three days.

Responding to the development, Rampal said: “As far as my immediate family and I are concerned, we are law abiding citizens. And while the incident involved a person who is a relative of my partner, my There is no other relationship or relationship, even more so with this person.
