Mumbai Police has seized “high quality” charas worth Rs 14.44 crore brought in a car from Kashmir and arrested a man, his wife, daughter and another person in this connection, an official said on Tuesday. . Acting on specific information received by units 6 and 7 of Mumbai Crime Branch, the police laid a trap on the Dahisar highway in the western suburb here on Monday morning and stopped the car, he said. After stopping the car, the police identified the four accused as Bandu Dagdu Udanshiv (52), his wife Clara (52), both residents of Powai area, their daughter Cynthia (23) and one Jasar Jehangir Sheikh (24). . During investigation, it was found that the main accused Udayanshiv used to bring narcotics from Kashmir.
