The letter is signed with the initials ‘GB’ and ‘LB’. The police claimed to have decoded it. Reportedly, these initials belong to gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. Police is probing and also trying to find out if they are linked to any previous incident targeting Salman Khan. Police officers were also seen talking to Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan outside Galaxy Apartments.

The police is also scanning the CCTV footage of the area for clues and is questioning the local people for further action on the threat letter. Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey said on Monday that he has taken the threat letter received by Bollywood actor Salman Khan “seriously”, and all angles of the matter will be probed, a report in PTI states.
Earlier in the day, a police team visited Khan’s residence in suburban Bandra and beefed up security around the premises, a day after the actor and his father and screenwriter Salim Khan received an anonymous letter purporting to kill him. Threatened.
Talking to reporters, Pandey said, ‘Since the matter is serious, we have also taken this issue seriously. Our officials are actively probing the matter. No one has been taken into custody so far. It is too early to say whether the letter is fake, and at the same time we cannot say anything about the Lawrence Bishnoi gang (involved). But whatever material is in the letter, we are taking it seriously and investigating it.”
