Air India-Vistara Merger: Man’s heartfelt tribute to his favourite airline is viral.

As Vistara prepares to merge with Air India on November 11, a wave of nostalgia has swept through the Indian aviation industry. The airline, known for its exceptional brand identity and customer experience, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. As the bookings will be redirected to the Air India website from November 12, an individual took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to bid farewell to the country’s favourite airline.
Devaiah Bopanna, a Mumbai resident, expressed, “Vistara is one of those rare products where brand identity and brand experience overlap in perfect harmony.”
Bopanna praised the airline’s distinctive purple hue, the in-flight rock album playlist, and the overall sense of calm that helps create a truly memorable journey. He went on to say that Vistara can create a premium experience, even in its regular economy class: “From its headrest to the cushioning to its nomenclature, everything was thought through, making one feel at ease in the skies.”
