A team led by Inspector Ravindra Salunkhe reached there and picked up Pappu. During preliminary interrogation, the police came to know that Pappu has several criminal cases registered against him in various police stations including molestation, rioting, theft and criminal intimidation.
The investigation was supervised by Joint Commissioner of Crime Branch Milind Bharambe, Additional CP Viresh Prabhu, DCP (Crime) Nilotpal and staff.
