Mumbai: Major fire erupts in residential building, many injured Watch

At least seven people were killed and 16 others injured in a major fire that broke out on the 18th floor of a residential building in central Mumbai’s Tardeo area on Saturday morning. Upon being alerted, 13 fire engines and seven water jetties were admitted to the building to douse the fire, which was marked as Level-3 (Major). Presently, firefighters have covered the fire from all sides, a BMC official said.
