Defending champions Mumbai Indians have included fast bowling all-rounder Rosh Kalaria in their main squad for the UAE leg as a replacement for injured Mohsin Khan. IPL. The 28-year-old had traveled to Abu Dhabi with the MI team as a back-up player, and has now earned his first IPL contract.
Kalaria was part of the India Under-19 team in the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He has been a key player for Gujarat in domestic cricket since his debut in 2012.
Kalaria was included in the squad during the team’s training session on Saturday. The lucrative league resumed in Dubai on Sunday with the much-anticipated clash between five-time IPL champions MI and three-time winners Chennai Super Kings.
Currently, CSK are second in the IPL points table, having won five of their initial seven matches when the league was being held in India. Mumbai, on the other hand, have made a mixed start to their campaign with four wins and three losses from seven matches and are at the fourth position in the points table.
The two met on 1 May when MI registered a four-wicket win at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
