Mumbai Elections 2024 Winners’ List: Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena and its ally, Congress ruled four of the six crucial constituencies in Mumbai. While Shiv Sena (UBT) won the Mumbai South, Mumbai South Central and Mumbai North East seats, Congress emerged victorious in the Mumbai North Central. On the other hand, BJP and its ally, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena won Mumbai North and Mumbai North West.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal won from Mumbai North. On the other hand, Congress’ Gaikwad Varsha Eknath won the Mumbai North Central constituency and defeated BJP’s Ujwal Nikam. Sanjay Dina Patil from Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena also won the Mumbai North-East seat.
For the unversed, in Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) comprises the Congress, the Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) faction led by Sharad Pawar. In contrast, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Shiv Sena and the NCP led by Ajit Pawar are part of the ruling alliance.
