Mumbai: Mumbai Police On Friday night, an unidentified person received a call claiming that bombs had been planted at four prominent places across the city.
The police received an unknown call on the emergency 100 phone number at around 8.53 pm. The caller claimed that four bombs were planted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.CSMT), dadri, And byculla railway station, as well as actors Amitabh BachchanThe bungalow
As soon as the information was received, the police started action to trace the caller. However, when contacted again, the man reprimanded the police and asked them to ‘not disturb’.
“I only shared the information I had,” he said, turning off his mobile phone.
After extensive search operation at all the four places, the security agencies did not find anything suspicious.
However, the Bomb Disposal Squad and the police have been asked to be on alert.
Senior officials of Mumbai Police are monitoring the situation.
Central Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Shivaji Sutar said that after getting information, Railway Police had also raided the ticket counter, waiting area, stall and platform of CSMT. Parts of the railway station premises have been evacuated.
