Following Team India’s victory in the first T20I against Afghanistan, where Shivam Dube’s notable innings of 60 runs earned him the Player of the Match title, he attributed his performance to MS Dhoni.

When I came to bat, I wanted to apply the lessons I’ve learned from MS Dhoni about finishing games. I frequently communicate with Mahi bhai, and he shares insights on how to navigate various situations. He has given me two-three tips and evaluated my batting. So, if he praises my batting, it boosts my confidence, and I strive to play well. My confidence went up because of that,” explained Dube in an interview with ‘JIO Cinema.’

Additionally, Dhoni’s recent gesture of celebrating a fan’s birthday garnered attention on social media. The fan shared a video of the iconic cricketer feeding him cake, earning admiration from many online.

“Thank you so much bhaiya for making my birthday special… it’s really surprising for me, Mahi bhaiya,” expressed the fan in the video’s caption.
