MRF: Tire maker MRF hit a new milestone on Tuesday as its stock touched the Rs 1 lakh mark during the day. The stock went up to Rs 1,00,300 on the BSE during the day – also its 52-week high. The company’s stock closed at Rs 99,950.65, up 1.02 per cent. It climbed 1.37 per cent to Rs 1,00,300 in intra-day.

On the NSE, the company’s shares rose 1.48 per cent to hit a record high of Rs 1,00,439.95 during the day. It closed at Rs 99,900, up 0.94 per cent. The stock has gained 12.89 per cent so far this year.

MRF creates history

Santosh Meena, Head of Research, Swastika Investmart Ltd. said, “MRF, one of the leading stocks in the Indian stock market, has created history by becoming the first 6 digit stock to cross the impressive milestone of 1 lakh.”

MRF has one of the highest price quotations on the exchanges. Another stock in the high value list is Honeywell Automation, whose shares are at Rs 41,200.
