Motorola is coming out with the third generation Moto Razr foldable smartphone this year, and now we get our first look at the company’s upcoming phone. The Moto Razr 3 has leaked in a video this week, courtesy of trusted tipster Evan Blass.
Evan posted the video on Twitter where you can see the folding mechanism of Maven, which is the internal codename of the Moto Razr 3 at Motorola. In the video, you can see the alleged Moto Razr 3 and its foldable display without any creases, giving you a smooth transition from outside to inside.

The Moto Razr 3 seems to have dual rear cameras on the front, and a bigger display to give you the time, notifications and other features. The device looks wider and wider than before, which could give it a good grip in the hand. Hopefully, Motorola has managed to pack a bigger battery to justify the extra bulk on the device.
You can also notice that the Moto Razr 3 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and there are soft-touch buttons on the bottom. Motorola is expected to make major changes to its next Razr foldable phone, which will have hardware as powerful as the Snapdragon 8th Gen + 1 chipset under the hood.
The phone is rumored to get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, which could be an exciting addition to the device. The Moto Razr 3 is likely to get a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary shooter and a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor.

There could also be a 13-megapixel snapper on the front of the device. Using the new hardware doesn’t mean that the Motorola Razr 3 will cost less than the price seen with the previous two iterations. Motorola may bring the Razr 3 to various markets and the new product video suggests that it could be real soon.
The Motorola Razr 3 will go up against Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4 which will launch around August this year along with other foldable products.
