The first look of Kay Kay Menon and Raashi Khanna from the series is now out along with Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.
With the unveiling of the looks of Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi from the upcoming Amazon Original Farzi, Prime Video has created a lot of anticipation among the viewers. Building on the excitement, the streaming service today released a new motion poster, revealing the characters of the lead cast – Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna and Kay Kay Menon. His enigmatic presence and fiery looks certainly raise the stakes and it will be exciting to watch these actors portray complex characters that add layers to the narrative.
Spanning eight episodes, Farzi is a fast-paced, edgy, one-of-a-kind crime thriller, featuring the director duo’s trademark humour, that centers around a clever underdog street artist’s quest to conquer a system that favors the rich. The girth is knitted. An exciting cat and mouse race ensues between him and law enforcement where losing is not an option. Along with Raj and DK, Fergie is written by Sita R Menon and Suman Kumar.
Creator duo Raj and DK had said, “After a massively successful collaboration with Prime Video for The Family Man, we are thrilled to be back with our next new series! This is one of our favorite scripts which we have created with lot of passion and shot during the ups and downs of the pandemic. Basically, a lot of sweat and tears have gone into the making of this series. After The Family Man, we challenged ourselves to come up with another exciting, unique world. We can’t wait for everyone to watch the series as it premieres on 10th February.”
Farzi marks the digital debut of Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi and is set to release on Prime Video on 10 February 2023. Produced by Raj and DK, the upcoming Amazon Original series is a fast-paced and intense crime thriller that also stars Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra and Bhuvan Arora in pivotal roles.
