Mother’s bravery: Mother clashed with leopard to save 3-year-old girl in Chandrapur, thrashed cannibals with sticks

The three-year-old girl was eating outside the house, when a leopard came and grabbed her in her jaw and started running away. In this, the mother’s eyes fell on the girl and she jumped in front of the leopard and after attacking with a stick, rescued the children from the mouth of the leopard. The incident took place on Tuesday night at 9 pm in Durgapur village of Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The girl’s life was saved in this attack. However, he is injured and is undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Chandrapur.

After this incident, 10 officers and employees of the forest department, who came to investigate the matter, were taken hostage by the local people. The villagers were demanding that the leopard be killed.

The mother who fought with the leopard for her daughter is now worried about her health.

Leopard was in the process of attacking the mother too
After attacking the leopard with a stick, he released the girl, but swooped down to attack mother Jyoti Pupalwar. However, Jyoti was not scared and inflicted several blows on the leopard with a stick. Seeing the aggressive attitude of the mother, the leopard had to give up and ran away.

The girl’s treatment is going on in the district hospital of Chandrapur.

Jyoti Puppalwar said, “My daughter was having food in the courtyard of the house and I had gone to take a bath. As soon as I came out after taking a bath, I saw the leopard dragging my daughter away. Without thinking anything, I attacked him with a stick. After the attack, the leopard abandoned the girl. But he was about to attack again. When I constantly hit him with a stick, he ran away.

The villagers held the forest department officials hostage for several hours.

Such an incident has happened before, 15 people lost their lives
This is not the first case of leopard attack in Durgapur area of ​​Chandrapur. Two elderly people and two children have lost their lives due to leopard attack last month. So far 15 people have died in this area due to attack by wild animals, including 6 children.

Order issued to kill leopard
When angry people took 10 forest officers and employees hostage and demanded to kill the leopard, the forest department also issued orders to kill the leopard late in the night. After that people released the officers and employees of the forest department. Now the search operation is going on to catch the leopard and kill it.
