Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans in the final to equal Mumbai Indians’ record of five Indian Premier League (IPL) titles this time. In terms of number of championships, Chennai and Mumbai are considered to be the two most successful sides in IPL history. But the stats and numbers didn’t deter Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard – two legends of the IPL – from engaging in hilarious banter while deciding the successful franchises in the competition. Bravo and his former West Indies teammate Pollard talked about the highly controversial matter while taking a car ride together. Mumbai’s batting coach Kieron Pollard started the discussion by asking Bravo how it felt to lift the IPL trophy for a record fifth time. Chennai bowling coach Bravo, on the other hand, went on to debate why MS Dhoni’s side is the best team in the tournament’s history. Asking cricket fans to settle the debate, Bravo also shared a video of their conversation on Instagram.

It didn’t take long for the official Instagram handle of Mumbai Indians to come up with a stunning proposal. Responding to the video, he asked: “How about a series of 3 super-over matches to be held in Mumbai, Chennai and Trinidad?”
Former Rajasthan Royals spinner Pravin Tambe believes that both Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard are “champions”.

With 183 wickets to his name, Dwayne Bravo is the second most successful bowler in IPL history. And Kieron Pollard helped Mumbai Indians to five IPL trophies and two Champions League titles.
