Moscow-Goa flight makes emergency landing in Gujarat following bomb threat

Moscow-Goa chartered flight has been diverted to Jamnagar in Gujarat after Goa ATC received a bomb threat.

Inspector General of Police (Rajkot and Jamnagar Range), Ashok Kumar Yadav said that all 236 passengers and crew members were safely evacuated and police and bomb disposal squad along with local authorities are examining the plane.

“A flight from Moscow to Goa had to make an emergency landing at Jamnagar airport due to a bomb threat. After landing, all the 236 passengers and crew members on board were safely disembarked. Police, BDDS and local officials have now cordoned off the entire aircraft are searching for.” Yadav said.
