1. Modi spoke 90 minutes from Red Fort, announced 100 lakh crore plan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation after hoisting the flag at the Red Fort for the eighth time on the 75th Independence Day. During this he remembered Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Modi made two big announcements in his 90-minute speech. These include Rs 100 lakh crore Gati Shakti Yojana to provide employment to the youth and opening of all Sainik Schools in the country for daughters.

2. Terror poster boy Burhan Wani’s father hoists the tricolor
