1. India-England 1st Test draw, last day’s play washed out by rain

3. Vaccination certificate on WhatsApp to those who got the corona vaccine
The central government has further simplified the process of obtaining the certificate of corona vaccination. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that now its certificate can be taken through WhatsApp in a few seconds. For this, the vaccinated person has to send a message from his mobile to a WhatsApp number. Within a few seconds, he will get the vaccine certificate.

4. Mixed dose of Coveshield and Covaxin increased immunity
ICMR has released the results of the first study on mixing of corona vaccine in the country. The study says that a mixed dose of Covaxin and Covishield provides better protection against the corona virus. Different doses of both vaccines provide better immunity than two doses of the same vaccine. This study was done by ICMR in the middle of May-June in UP.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the open debate on maritime security at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) today. Russian President Vladimir Putin will also attend it. 6. Clashes again on Assam-Mizoram border, 9 vehicles attacked by mob
Violent clashes broke out once again on the border of the North-East states of Assam and Mizoram. A mob of 400-500 people attacked the vehicles going from Assam to Mizoram. 96 years ago, on this day, the Kakori incident that shook the British rule took place. Then under the leadership of revolutionary thinker Shachindranash Sanyal, some youths founded the Hindustan Republican Association. Ramprasad Bismil, Chandrashekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh joined this party. These revolutionaries planned to loot the government treasury to buy weapons. On 9 August 1925, a train going from Saharanpur to Lucknow was robbed at Kakori station. A total of Rs 4,601 came in the hands of the revolutionaries. 4 revolutionaries involved in this loot were later hanged.
