More than 1.5 lakh COVID-19 doses given in just 7 months at MLN Medical College. Allahabad News – Times of India

He claimed that MLN Medical College-SRN Hospital is the only government hospital in Prayagraj division which has crossed the 1.5 lakh dosage mark in the last seven months.
He said, “Of the 1.5 lakh doses given to recipients of all age groups at MLN Medical College, 55% were male and 45% female recipients. This figure also included 7,500 beneficiaries in terms of international travelers and 3,000 under the parent campaign group.
So far more than 37.26 lakh doses have been given to the eligible recipients in Prayagraj district.
Dr. Singh said that the health department officials have also adopted a “split vaccination plan” to speed up vaccination in rural and urban areas, in which vaccination teams change vaccination sites within a stipulated time (one to two hours). Were were ) to cover the maximum number of recipients at a particular location.
In rural areas, grassroots health workers such as ASHAs, ANMs and Anganwadi workers were also issuing “invitation slips”, known as “bulwa slips”, to eligible recipients by preparing a list and asking them to enter their first or second Appeal to take the dosage.
Besides this, ground health workers have also conducted a separate exercise in selected blocks, where they were putting up “tick mark symbols” outside the homes of the recipients. Single tick marks are being put up outside the homes of the recipients who have taken the first dose and double tick marks are being put up at the homes of both the recipients in rural areas.
Meanwhile, health department officials claimed that more than 37,26,537 doses have been administered so far to eligible recipients in the district and nearly 60% of the recipients were in the age group of 18-44 years.
Officials said that about 62% of the target recipients were given the first dose while 20% of the target recipients were fully vaccinated. The district has set a target of providing the Kovid-19 vaccine to more than 45.16 lakh beneficiaries of the district.
