Released in cinemas on August 15, Stree 2 has turned out to be a blockbuster with an impressive box-office collection. Celebrating the success, the makers hosted a success bash on Tuesday where stars like Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon and Tamannaah Bhatia were in attendance. As the pictures and videos from the party continue to stir the internet, singer Shilpa Rao also shared a bunch of images from the fun-filled occasion. In the snapshots, she is seen posing with Bollywood A-listers including Shraddha, Patralekhaa, Nimrat Kaur, Kriti and Ayushmann Khurrana.
The album shared by Shilpa Rao opens with a picture of the singer with Shraddha Kapoor as the duo put their quirky side to display. Next one is a picture of her with Kriti Sanon who is also a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe. FYI, Kriti played the female lead in Bhediya. The subsequent frames have Shilpa posing with Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao along with his wife Patralekhaa amid the red-themed party. The album concludes with an endearing picture where Ayushmann is seen hugging the singer.
Dropping the pictures, Shilpa Rao wrote, “Such a cool night hanging with these uber cool and talented bunch.”
Interestingly, one of the videos from the success party has already been widely shared on Instagram. It captured Tamannaah Bhatia grooving to her popular song Aaj Ki Raat from the film Stree 2 with its lead actress Shraddha Kapoor. Do not miss Tamannaah’s beau Vijay Varma as he cheers for her, constantly blowing whistles.
Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi and more in pivotal roles, Stree 2 marks the sequel of the 2018 released film Stree. It is directed by Amar Kaushik and backed by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films.
The second installment picks up from where its prequel ended. However, it introduces a new antagonist, Sarkata, haunting the Chanderi village. As the village turns to Stree to rescue them, the film takes an interesting turn. Beside the lead cast, the film also witnesses cameo appearances by Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia. That’s not all. Director Amar Kaushik has also made a guest appearance in the song Aaj ki Raat.
