Panaji: Goa Police arrested a resident of Ahmedabad on Friday Jaypuri Gosai In connection with the murder of Chandrakanti bandekar, who was found dead with a knife in Mopa on July 2.
The investigation, which lasted for about seven weeks, was jointly carried out by the Crime Branch and the North Goa Police.
The body was found in the forest area of Mopa, and was identified as Bandekar holy-pernem. A case of murder has been registered against unknown at Pernem police station.
The North Goa SP said, “During investigation it was found that the case was completely blind, and the only clue was a CCTV video which showed the deceased giving a lift to an unidentified, unidentified person on his two-wheeler. ” Shobhit Saxena.
Several teams were formed to scout the area for clues and collect CCTV footage and interrogate the suspects. After a thorough analysis of technical and human intelligence, a suspect was traced to Amravati, Maharashtra.

Saxena said, “On enquiry, Gosai revealed that he had come to Goa in June 2021.” “When he ran out of money, he decided to return to Ahmedabad, and on his way back, he had asked for a lift from the deceased near Patradevi. Seeing his gold chain, lured him to rob him and to rob him he stabbed the accused and fled with his valuables.
