According to the Arab Union for Astronomy, Ramadan is expected to begin in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, April 2. However, this may change depending on the appearance of the crescent moon.

Today, April 1 is the 28th Sha’ban in India and the moon can be seen only on 29th Sha’ban. That is why the moon is to be seen in India tomorrow i.e. on 2nd April. Depending on the rise of the crescent tomorrow evening, Ramadan will either be observed on Sunday (April 3) or Monday (April 4).
