Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone was in for a sweet surprise when she walked into what seems to be the location of Singham 3 aka Singham Again. Deepika, who is expecting her first baby with Ranveer Singh, is working through her pregnancy. She is currently shooting for the Rohit Shetty film, playing the role of lady Singham in it. On Tuesday, Deepika took to her Instagram account and shared a post in which she revealed she received flowers along with an adorable love note.
The Bajirao Mastani star received an assortment of flowers along with a sweet note that read, “To our hero, lady Singham.” Deepika shared the post sans a caption. Fans took to the comments section and showered her with love. “Indeed a lady Singham ❤️,” a comment read. “Missing you badly ,” added another. “Lady Singham making a baby Singham,” teased a fan.
Deepika has a prominent role in the movie. Back in 2023, Rohit Shetty had said that Singham Again will feature Deepika as one of the heroes. He said said, “She is like one of the heroes and what we are doing with it is that we will go with her story. We will make a film which has only Deepika…it is her story… Like Sooryavanshi, Singham and Simmba, the films had already been made and people knew about them but with Singham Again we are introducing these characters and then we will tell their stories.”
The film, featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, along with Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Deepika is expecting her first child with Ranveer. The couple announced their pregnancy in February this year. Deepika shared an adorable poster with “September 2024″ written on it. The poster also had children’s clothes, toys and balloons as the border. Deepika and Ranveer have been married for over five years now. She will soon be seen alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in Kalki 2989 AD.
