Talking about the Gyanvapi Masjid issue, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said that it is a continuous matter and neither today’s Hindus or Muslims have built it but you cannot change history. Bhagwat said that Hindus do not think against Muslims because the ancestors of today’s Muslims were also Hindus.

“Gyanvapi case is going on. History cannot change. It was neither made by today’s Hindus nor today’s Muslims. It happened at that time. Islam came from outside through raiders. In attacks, Devasthans were destroyed in India’s It was demolished to demoralize the freedom seekers, the RSS chief said.

“Issues raised in places where Hindus have special devotion. Hindus do not think against Muslims. The ancestors of today’s Muslims were also Hindus. This was always done to keep them devoid of freedom and suppress morale. Hence Hindus feels that they (religious places) should be restored,” Bhagwat said.

“If there is any thing in the mind, it rises. It is not against anyone. It should not be considered as such. Muslims should not believe so and Hindus should not do this. It is something like that, find out. way through mutual agreement,” Bhagwat said.

“A way out doesn’t always come out. People approach the court, and if it is done then whatever the court decides should be accepted. We must abide by the decisions by considering our judicial system as sacred and supreme We should not question its decisions,” the RSS chief said.

“…we should not raise a new matter everyday. Why should we create controversy? We have devotion towards Gyanvapi and we are doing something according to that, that’s fine. But why look for Shivling in every mosque?… The RSS chief said.

Mohan Bhagwat on Russo-Ukraine War

Mohan Bhagwat also spoke about India’s stand on Russia-Ukraine conflict and the ongoing war in Europe.

Bhagwat said, “If there is no policy, then power becomes disorder. We can see that right now Russia has attacked Ukraine. It is being opposed but no one is ready to go to Ukraine and stop Russia.” No because Russia has power and it threatens.”

Criticizing the actions of the West in the Russo-Ukraine war, the RSS chief said, “Those who are protesting also have no pure intention. They are supplying arms to Ukraine, this is how Western countries have been in the past.” I used to pit India and Pakistan against each other. And test your own ammunition. Something similar is happening here.”

“India is telling the truth, but it has to take a balanced approach. Fortunately, it has taken that balanced approach. It neither supported the attack nor opposed Russia. It didn’t help Ukraine in the war, but they is providing all other assistance. It is constantly asking Russia to hold talks,” he said.

“If the Indians were powerful enough, they would have stopped the war but this cannot happen – its power is still increasing, but it is not perfect. Why doesn’t China stop them? Because it can see something in this war. This war has escalated security and economic issues for countries like ours,” the RSS chief said.

“We have to strengthen our efforts, and we have to become powerful. If India had such power in its hands, then such incident would not have come in front of the world.”

The RSS chief concluded by saying, “Do we want to be ‘world champions’? No, we have no such aspiration. We don’t have to win anyone. We have to unite all. Sangh also works to unite all.” , not to win. India does not exist to conquer anyone but to unite all.
