Sources tell CNN-News18 that in each of these districts, party ‘karyakartas’ have been asked to mobilize at least 10,000 unemployed youths affected by the delay in government job recruitment.

Buoyed by the success of the first ‘Nirudyog’ or ‘Unemployed Youth’ march led by Bandi Sanjay in Warangal, the BJP in Telangana will intensify its state-wide agitation over the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper leak scam. Put millions of students in trouble

After Warangal, the BJP will hold protest marches in at least 10 districts, including Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Adliabad, Nizamabad, Khammam and Hyderabad. Sources tell CNN-News18 that in each of these districts, party ‘karyakartas’ have been asked to mobilize at least 10,000 unemployed youths affected by the delay in government job recruitment. The Final Million March will be held on a grand scale in Hyderabad either in the last week of May or in the first week of June.

An internal task force has also been formed to connect with affected job aspirants. Senior party leader and former TSPSC member CH Vittal, who is part of the committee, said they are reaching out to the youth through universities, coaching centres, student organizations and the City Central Library.

Based on their interactions with job aspirants, the nine-member team will soon file a consolidated report which will be sent to State President Bandi Sanjay, Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and the central leadership in Delhi. The team has so far visited three major universities – Osmania in Hyderabad, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and Kakatiya University in Warangal.

“Around 30 lakh families have been left in the lurch. There is at least one government job aspirant in every family. We aim to reach as many people as possible. Job creation is a major political talking point for us. If our party comes to power, first of all we will release job calendar and follow UPSC model of recruitment. The response on the ground has been overwhelmingly positive as there is palpable anger against CM KCR.

The next protest will take place in Mahbubnagar district after the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah, scheduled on April 23. Shah will visit Chevella parliamentary constituency as part of the BJP’s Parliament stay plan. Sources say that the central leadership will completely focus on Telangana and will intensify its campaign once the Karnataka elections are over. By raising the issue of the TSPSC paper leak scam, the party also intends to take on the BRS and overtake the Congress in establishing itself as the ‘sole voice’ fighting for justice for unemployed youth.

“The paper leak episode has only increased the pressure on KCR who had promised to create 1 lakh jobs but failed to fill 20,000 posts. The entire Telangana movement was based on three things – Nidhulu (funds), Neelu (water) and Niyamakalu (jobs). KCR has failed on all fronts. Ahead of the elections, it is our constant endeavor to highlight the failures of KCR and the welfare schemes brought by PM Modi in BJP ruled states. Hindutva and welfare schemes will be our major campaigns,” said a senior BJP leader, who also pointed out that the arrest of detainee Sanjay Kumar has given them more momentum to capitalize on the whole issue.
