In North Delhi’s Wazirabad, three unidentified men attacked a shop owner and his servant and stole Rs 48,000 in cash and chocolates worth over Rs 7,000. The police gave this information on Friday. He said the incident happened on Tuesday. According to the FIR, the 30-year-old complainant runs a general store in Wazirabad along with his two brothers.

He was about to close the shop at around 11.30 pm on Tuesday when three people on a motorcycle reached there. Two of them got off the two-wheeler, entered the shop and started beating him and his servant Sahil, alleged the complainant. According to the FIR, one of the men took Rs 48,000 from the cash counter, while the other took two boxes of chocolates worth Rs 7,200.

The FIR states that the accused threatened the complainant that they would shoot him if he told about the incident to anyone and fled the spot. The victim went home and informed about the incident to one of her brothers, who informed the police.

A case under sections 392 (punishment for dacoity) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Wazirabad police station in connection with the incident and investigation has been initiated.
