Migration certificate not mandatory for NEET UG counseling 2021, MCC

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate or NEET-UG Counseling 2021 is now going on and its two rounds have been completed. MCC, Medical Advisory Committee, has released an important notification regarding the Migration Certificate for reporting purposes.

As per the MCC NEET UG Counseling 2021 Notification, Migration Certificate is no longer a “compulsory” document for reporting. This is only a desirable document, and if one is unable to produce it for any reason, the institute will not deny admission.

However, medical students will have to promise the institute that they will submit the documents within seven days. Candidates can check the notification on the official site MCC.nic.in.

This is to inform the candidates/participating colleges that the Migration Certificate is a desirable document for reporting UG counselling, but “not mandatory,” the MCC notice said.

“Colleges are advised that in case a candidate is not able to produce the ‘Migration Certificate’, the College may grant admission provisionally after obtaining an undertaking from the candidate that he/she will submit the Migration Certificate within 7 days. ” added.

MCC declared the round 2 results of NEET UG counseling 2021 on February 27 at mcc.nic.in. A seat was allotted to the candidates who participated in the NEET-UG 2021 Round 2 counselling. They had to download their seat allotment letter and report to their colleges between February 27 to March 5, 2022. From March 10, MCC will accept registration for the mop-up round of NEET counseling 2021 and choice filling facility will be available. 11 March 2022.

The mop-up round will be open for the candidates who did not participate in the round two. The result PDF of NEET counseling 2021 mop-up round will be released on March 19, 2022, following the seat allotment process.

MCC is in charge of NEET UG counseling for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, AIIMS and JIPMER seats under Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), and AIQ as well as seats in Central and Deemed Universities . , ESIC, AFMS, and AIIMS and JIPMER. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will also be eligible to compete for 15 percent AIQ seats.
