Microsoft Surface Duo 2 may have triple rear camera setup – Times of India

Microsoft Foldable devices joined the bandwagon last year Surface pair. Rumors about the next generation Surface Duo Started circling. latest rumor comes from Windows Central and suggest that Surface Duo 2 (unproven name) may be getting a camera upgrade.
According to a report in Windows Central, the Surface Duo 2 could sport a triple camera setup at the back. There will be a main camera with ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. Windows Central has shared leaked images and the camera module looks quite large. The LED flash and perhaps laser autofocus can also be seen on the camera bump.
In terms of other design elements, the Surface Duo 2 could sport a similar design to its predecessor. However, the fingerprint sensor may be embedded within the power button. Also, the USB-C port can be shifted to the right side of the Surface Duo 2.
The rumored launch date of Surface Duo 2 is being pegged around September or October this year. The device is expected to ship with QualcommThe latest processor of the – unlike the Surface Duo which had a slightly ‘older’ processor. Microsoft is reportedly making the display a bit bigger with thinner bezels. There is no word on the color variant, but the frosted back and frosted white may be retained by Microsoft.
Microsoft launched the Surface Duo for $1,399 but soon reduced it to $999. We can expect the Surface Duo 2 to be priced somewhere between two figures. However, Microsoft isn’t known for making ‘cheap’ hardware, so the price could be high too. Ahead of the launch in the coming months, expect more rumors and leaks about what will be the second foldable device from the house of Microsoft.
