Microsoft has made the lives of Teams users easier by merging Work and Private Accounts in the same app. Now, you can use both your personal and work accounts same app In your Windows 10 PC, as per a report by Windows Central. update to Microsoft Teams Eliminates the need to toggle between the two types of accounts. After the update, when you log in, your work or school account should simply show up as the app’s logo, while personal will be indicated to be distinguished by a logo within a white circle.
If you cannot gain access to both types of accounts in the app at the same time, it would be wise to update the app to the latest version. If you still can’t use both the accounts after that, it could be due to the phased rollout of the update. This is an update that is being rolled out gradually to the users and it may take some time to arrive.
Allowing users access to both personal and business accounts at the same time within the same app simplifies use and will help connect with contacts more easily. Microsoft Teams is also getting end-to-end encryption sometime in July this year. With this feature, the group video conferencing platform for professionals will get an additional layer of security with which they will be able to conduct sensitive conversations online. The Teams app will come with support for holding calls along with end-to-end encryption. Microsoft states that “to support customer security and compliance requirements, IT will have full control over who can use E2EE in the organization.”
