Microsoft likely to bring Windows 12 version to PC in 2024

Microsoft is planning for the future which reportedly includes the new Windows 12 version, which is expected to be released in two years’ time. The company hasn’t officially revealed the possibility of a successor to Windows 11 for now, but a new report this week indicates that Windows 12 will be ready and running for PCs in 2024.

This timeline suggests that Microsoft may go back to its old tradition of bringing out a new Windows version every three years. Windows 11 has just made its presence felt in the market, and it seems that Microsoft is ready to bring the next version.

The company has canceled its update for next year, pushing it to 2024, which could be the announcement of the Windows 12 version for PC. Having said that, Windows 11 will have a big role to play for Microsoft in the market, especially with the cool changes the company has made to its compatibility.

Now, one cannot be sure that the Windows 12 plans are legit, at least until Microsoft speaks openly about it. Hence, it is possible that the company may change its plans and decide to extend the Windows 11 version for a longer period.
