KKR lost to Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 7 runs via the DLS method, but bounced back to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 81 runs and then pulled off a thrilling 3-wicket win over Gujarat Titans (GT), but Sunrisers Lost to Hyderabad (SRH) by 23 runs.

Despite winning the previous game, Mumbai Indians, the most successful IPL team, will be under extra pressure at the Wankhede Stadium as they have not been able to fulfill their potential so far in IPL 2023.
With two wins and as many losses, KKR have had their share of highs and lows and are fourth in the points table with a decent net run rate (0.711) compared to Mumbai Indians, who are ninth with two points and an NRR. Is ranked – 0.879.
Rohit Sharma played a match-winning knock of 65 against Delhi Capitals but it will be a challenge for the MI skipper to find consistency, especially when other senior Suryakumar Yadav is going through a rough patch.

Mumbai Indians are likely to be without pacer Jofra Archer, who has been sidelined with fresh elbow trouble since his appearance in the first match of the season. Jason Behrendorff and Riley Meredith will have to shoulder the responsibility in the pace department, while Piyush Chawla will be expected to carry on his form from the previous game where he took 3/22.
MI are set to fire on their young guns Tim David, Cameron Green, Tilak Verma and Ishan Kishan considering that KKR have shown incredible fight till the end to pull off a resounding win against Gujarat Titans, and against SRH Fought till the last ball. ,

Rinku Singh will be Mumbai’s biggest threat with the bat as the left-handed batsman has scored 48 and 58 not out at No.7 in his last two matches.
Apart from this, skipper Nitish Rana, Venkatesh Iyer, Rahmanullah Gurbaj and Shardul Thakur are scoring runs for KKR, which indicates that MI will have to be at their best in all departments.
KKR skipper Rana on Friday kicked off his usual run with the bat by scoring a 41-ball 75 and declared his return to form. On the other hand, in his last two matches with the bat, Rinku has hit a total of five fours and 10 sixes in the death overs alone while executing two high-quality innings. The focus will once again be on the talented young batsman in the KKR line-up.

However, KKR also have some concerns in the form of their all-rounder Andre Russell, who has been struggling with the bat this IPL. Russell could not complete his quota of overs against SRH in Kolkata on Friday night as he suffered cramps, but his three wickets kept KKR in the game for long.
It remains to be seen whether KKR will look to try explosive English batsman Jason Roy at the top considering Gurbaj has played his part at the top. Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy have been among the wickets for KKR, with Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das joining them recently.
