Jaipur: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain on September 9 and 10 in many districts of the state.
According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, a low pressure area has formed over Odisha and adjoining area.
Meteorological officials said that the Monsoon Trough is also passing through its normal position.
Under its influence, Monsoon will remain active over most parts of the state in the coming days and heavy rain is likely at isolated places in the districts of Udaipur, Jodhpur and Kota divisions.

He said that another new low pressure area is very likely to form in the Bay of Bengal around September 11.
Udaipur’s Gogunda recorded 10 cm of rain during the last 24 hours; 5 cm each in Shergarh of Jodhpur, Makrana of Nagaur, Dhorimanna of Barmer; and 4 cm at Badesar in Chittorgarh, he added.
1 to 3 cm of rainfall was recorded at different places.
Till Tuesday evening, there was light rain in many districts of the state including Jodhpur, Churu, Dholpur and Bundi.
The maximum temperature recorded in Bikaner district of the state was 40 degree Celsius.
The maximum temperature in most parts was recorded at 39.4°C to 33.2°C while the minimum temperature was recorded in the range of 24.2°C to 28.8°C. PTI AG MGA MGA
