Ravi, who is from Sholingur in Tamil Nadu, has been doing welfare assistance in the name of the star for many years. Prior to this appreciation party, he organized several gatherings in praise of the widely acclaimed actor.
A few years ago, in 2017, he organized a festival called ‘Malarattam Humanity’ in Sholingur, which was attended by fans from across Tamil Nadu. Welfare assistance was provided to fans who had lost their livelihood. They plan to hold a grand ceremony next month on March 26 at the Nandanam YMCA ground in Chennai. Rajini’s fans will be provided welfare assistance as usual on the occasion apart from felicitating the legendary actor. Permission has been taken from Rajinikanth himself for organizing this event.
Administrators of Rajinikanth fan clubs in Tamil Nadu have also been consulted and invited to the event. As most of the work involves welfare assistance, efforts are on to identify fans of Rajini who are in need of assistance. Many friends of the superstar are expected to attend the event. As for the title of the festival, Tamil cinema personalities will make it public in the coming days.
