Mehbooba Mufti challenged Omar
She further said, “Today I challenge Omar sahab (Omar Abdullah), you during your tenure got thousands of FIRs lodged against youngsters. I, Mehbooba Mufti, joined hands with the BJP government and withdrew 12,000 FIRs. If you have the courage, I dare you to show me the withdrawal of a single FIR.”
Highlighting the stringent steps she took during her coalition government with the BJP, Mufti said, “During my governance, in the Rasana case, not only did I drop two ministers but also made sure a lifetime imprisonment to eight. Among those ministers is one for whom NC leaders go to advocate. If you have courage, speak against that former minister.”

Reacting to Ghulam Nabi Azad’s statement in which he said that no mosque has been demolished, no land has been confiscated, the senior leaders are misguiding the people of Kashmir, Mufti said, “Ghulam Nabi Azad sahab earlier said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were Hindus long before, so what do I say to his statement?”
