Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi on Wednesday took to his social media handle to announce that he has tested positive for Covid-19, adding to the long list of film personalities who have been the target of the virus.
Chiranjeevi said in his note: “Despite all precautions, I have tested COVID-19 positive last night with mild symptoms and I am staying at home. I request all those who have come in contact with me in the last few days Came in. Can’t wait to see you all back soon!”
Back in November 2020, the megastar had also tested positive, so this is the second time he has been infected. His colleagues report that he is under constant medical supervision, but his fans are concerned about Chiranjeevi’s health.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Acharya’, in which he shares screen space with Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde, is in the final stages of production and will release later this year.
Chiranjeevi has some big budget projects like ‘Bhola Shankar’ and ‘Godfather’ which are in the works.
