Mega budget of 6.15 lakh crore in UP: Smartphone-tablet to 2 crore students, 5 lakh jobs, read poetry 3 times while presenting the budget

The first budget of Yogi Sarkar 2.0 has arrived. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna finished the budget of Rs 6.15 lakh crore by reading it in full 90 minutes. During this, he also read Shero-Shayari 3 times. This is the biggest budget of the state till date. Earlier, the budget for 2021-22 was Rs 5.50 lakh crore.

In this, a target has been set to take the economy of the state to one trillion dollars i.e. 77 lakh 60 thousand crore rupees. It was a paperless budget, so the finance minister read it on Apple’s computer. Let us see what the people of UP got in this budget…

For employment: Nurses will be recruited for 10,000 new posts

  • 40,000 crore will be invested in the next 5 years under the Information Technology and Electronics Industry Policy. This will give employment to 4 lakh youth.
  • Under the Chief Minister’s Village Industries Employment Scheme, 800 business centers will be opened in 2022-2023. With this, the target is to provide jobs to 16,000 people.
  • Till now in secondary education, selection was done through interview. But now there will be no interview. Yogi government is recruiting 40,402 such teachers. Along with this, 7540 new posts will also be created.
  • 3,000 nurses will be appointed in government medical colleges/hospitals and 10,000 new posts will be recruited in 2022-23.

For youth: Abhyudaya coaching centers to be opened in all districts

  • In order to update the youth of the urban and rural areas of the state with technology, 20 million smartphone-tablets will be distributed in 5 years. A provision of Rs 1,500 crore has been made for 2022-2023 under the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana.
  • Under the new startup policy, at least one or more than 100 incubator centers will be opened in every district in 5 years. In this training is given to start a startup. Through this, the target is to start 10,000 startups. Till now 47 incubators are functional and more than 5,600 startups have been registered.
  • Competitive students will get coaching facility near their home. For this, Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana has been implemented in all 18 divisional headquarters. Now this scheme will be expanded to all 75 districts. 30 crore has been made for this.
  • Young lawyers will be given financial assistance for books and magazines for the first 3 years of work. A provision of Rs 10 crore has been made for this.
  • In international sports competitions, jobs will be given on gazetted posts through direct recruitment of medal winners from native of UP. An international cricket stadium will be built in Varanasi. 95 crores will be spent in this.
  • Major Dhyan Chand Sports University will be set up in Meerut. 50 crore will be spent in this. Under the Khelo India policy of the Government of India, Khelo India Centers will be opened in 75 districts of the state.

For women: Women’s help desk will be set up in all the police stations of the state.

  • Women beat constables were appointed in 1535 police stations in all 75 districts. Together, a ‘Women Help Desk’ has been set up.
  • 10,370 women beats have been distributed to 2,740 women police personnel in all the districts of the state.
  • Three women PAC battalions will be established in Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Badaun. Cyber ​​help desks are being set up in the districts of the state. 72 crore 50 lakh will be given for women empowerment scheme.
  • Under the Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao scheme, laptops were given to 100 topper girl students of UPPSC 2018 and laptops to 100 topper SC/ST girl students.
  • 20 crore will be given for the safety and empowerment of women and skill development in the micro and small scale sector.
  • In order to motivate the Anganwadi workers for better work, 1500 rupees will be increased from September 2021 itself.

For farmers: Free irrigation, minimum support price of paddy at Rs 1940 and wheat at Rs 2015 per quintal

  • 5 lakh will be given to the family of farmers in case of accidental death or disability. 650 crore has been kept for this scheme.
  • Government solar pumps will be installed in villages for irrigation. 15,000 solar pumps will be installed in the year 2022-23.
  • 60.20 lakh quintals of free seeds will be distributed.
  • In 2022-23, 119.30 lakh metric tonnes i.e. 11930 lakh quintals of fertilizers will be distributed to the farmers.
  • Free irrigation facility is being provided to the farmers through 34,307 state tube wells and 252 small branch canals.
  • An arrangement of Rs 1000 crore has been made through the Chief Minister’s Small Irrigation Scheme.
  • The Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Paddy Common i.e. Rs 1940 per quintal and the support price of Grade-A paddy has been fixed at Rs 1960 per quintal. The MSP of wheat has been kept at Rs 2015 per quintal.

For health: Medical colleges will be opened in 16 new districts on PPP model

  • A provision of Rs 10,547 crore 42 lakh has been made for the National Rural Health Mission. Rs 620 crore provision for Prime Minister’s Self-Reliant Healthy India Scheme.
  • 2,949 hospitals have been linked to the Ayushman Bharat scheme. 1.78 crore families of the state will be given its benefit. So far 1.84 crore people have been given Ayushman cards. A provision of Rs 560 crore will be made for the scheme.
  • A provision of Rs 250 crore has been made for Ayushman Bharat Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.
  • A provision of Rs 320 crore 7 lakh has been made for the Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana. Under the 15th Finance Commission, a provision of Rs 2908 crore was made for various schemes.
  • A provision of Rs 100 crore was made for the cashless medical scheme for the treatment of incurable diseases of state employees and pensioners.
  • One lakh girls in the age group of 9 to 14 years will be given both doses of HPV vaccine in the state.
  • An arrangement of Rs 25 crore has been made for the establishment of super specialty hospitals in the border and other areas of the state.
  • PPP policy has been announced for setting up of medical colleges in 16 more districts of the state. Medical colleges will be opened here through private investment.
  • 500 crore has been released for increase in seats in MBBS and PG courses.
  • A provision of Rs.50 crore has been made for self-governing state medical colleges and Rs.25 crore for the establishment of nursing colleges.
  • An arrangement of Rs 100 crore 45 lakh will be made for the establishment of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University in Lucknow.
  • An arrangement of Rs 2100 crore has been made for new medical colleges under construction in 14 districts of the state- Bijnor, Kushinagar, Sultanpur, Gonda, Lakhimpur Kheri, Chandauli, Bulandshahr, Sonbhadra, Pilibhit, Aureya, Kanpur Dehat, Kaushambi and Amethi.
  • A provision of Rs 50 crore has been made for Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Medical Scheme. 100 crore will be given for the treatment of the poor.

For the development of villages and cities: Every house will get clean water and electricity connection for Rs 500

  • 2000 crores will be spent on Amrit Yojana for clean water under Har Ghar Nal Yojana.
  • 2200 crores will be spent on the already running AMRUT scheme.
  • A provision of Rs 10,127 crore 61 lakh was made for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
  • 550 crore will be spent on the development of infrastructure facilities in the municipalities.
  • Rs 100 crore was arranged for Mahakumbh Mela 2025.
  • 200 crore for Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Adarsh ​​Nagar Panchayat Yojana.
  • Provision of 215 crores for Chief Minister’s Urban Under Developed and Slums Scheme.
  • 7000 crores will be spent on Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana.
  • Rs 508 crore 63 lakh will be spent on Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana.
  • 15463 ponds and 5882 sports grounds will be prepared from MNREGA.
  • Provision of Rs 7373 crore 71 lakh for village roads.

  • There will be three data centers in UP. 300 crore is proposed for fiber cable.
  • A target of enrolling 2 crore students has been set under the School Chalo Abhiyan.
  • Jhalkari Bai scheme for weavers will be promoted.
  • Gram Unnati Yojana will be established in the name of Kalyan Singh. Street lights will be installed on the roads of the villages.
  • Electricity connection will be given to all the families in urban poor families and villages for Rs 500.
  • Dairy plant will be set up in Mathura. 100 crore will be given for Kanha Gaushala and destitute animals.
  • An arrangement of Rs 140 crore has been made for the development of Surajkund in Ayodhya.
  • A budget of Rs 597 crore has been proposed for the Agra Metro Rail Project.
  • A budget of Rs 100 crore has been proposed for Metro in Varanasi and Gorakhpur.
  • 2000 crore has been made for the Central Smart City Scheme. Rs 97 crore will be given for Namami Gange.
  • Old age pension has been increased from Rs.500 to Rs.1000.

In the middle of the budget, Suresh Khanna read poetry and poetry thrice. The MLAs applauded more than 20 times during the entire budget.
