Aditi Awasthi, Founder and CEO of edtech platform Embibe, is very passionate about improving the state of education in India. Embibe is an artificial intelligence edtech platform known to be an excellent online test prep tool for engineering and medical entrance exams. Bengaluru-based startup Byju’s is giving tough competition to key players like Physics Wallah and Unacademy. Embibe’s success can be attributed to Aditi’s courage to dream big and her strong will to win against all odds.

Born in Ludhiana, Punjab, Aditi completed her B.Tech in 2003 from Thapar University. He earned his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Hence, Aditi founded Embibe in 2012, with a sole mission – to democratize education in the country through a deep technology platform company. Embibe helps students crack some of the most competitive exams like NEET and IIT JEE by providing them a dynamic self-updating curriculum, designed on the principles of self-learning.

Aditi’s edtech firm has managed to make thousands of concepts from grade one to twelve more understandable by keeping artificial intelligence and data science at the core of the platform.

As part of its pilot project, Embibe was able to help a group of tribal students in Rajasthan qualify for top engineering colleges.

In 2018, Embibe was able to secure an investment of $180 million from Reliance Industries. Reliance acquired 73 per cent stake in the platform.
