McLaren all set to enter Indian market this year with first dealership opening soon: Details – Times of India

British luxury automotive manufacturer McLaren has finally confirmed its plans to enter the Indian market later this year. The company will be opening its first dealership in India in Mumbai this October. With this move, India will become the 41st country in the world where McLaren has its operations.
McLaren retails a range of supercars that are hand-built at its McLaren Technology Centre located in Woking, England. “India remains an important market where our fans and select clientele can enjoy the best of McLaren in Mumbai. Looking ahead, we will shortly welcome the Artura to India, the all-new high-performance hybrid supercar,” Paul Harris. McLaren Automotive Managing Director – APAC and China said in a statement.
McLaren plans to make all its supercars available in India. The current portfolio consists of 765LT (coupe and spyder), 720S (coupe and spyder) as well as the Artura performance hybrid. The company might also drive in the McLaren GT grand tourer in the Indian market – the one that was recently gifted to Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan by producer Bhushan Kumar. Through the Mumbai dealership, McLaren will provide customers with sales, aftersales and servicing on the complete range of models.
