MCD officials on Tuesday said it is looking for support from NGOs and private firms for the development of smart classrooms, libraries and improvement of school buildings.

In a statement, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi said it has launched ‘Vidyasthali Project’ to develop an excellent learning environment in its schools for the all-round development of students.

Under the project, various NGOs and private companies are invited to support and strengthen the facilities and infrastructure in schools run by the civic body.

MCD expects active cooperation from various NGOs and private companies in areas like development of smart classes, library development, nursery class development, resource center material for children with special needs, school building improvement, human resources, sports, Still working. Proposals are invited from companies, industries, government and non-government organizations and people with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds to bring about holistic development of children.
