Sonam Kapoor seems to be enjoying the current phase of her life a lot. All set to embrace parenthood with her husband businessman Anand Ahuja, Sonam did not look happy. The yet-to-be-parents announced that they were pregnant in March this year through a social media post. Now, a recent Pinkvilla report has confirmed that Sonam’s best friend and designer Masaba Gupta will be designing the boho-themed baby shower. Friends who have known each other since childhood share a great bond together.
The couple is one of the most famous BFFs of B-town. A star-studded affair, Sonam’s baby shower will be attended by her family members Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Mohit Marwah. Swara Bhaskar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora, Alia Bhatt, Natasha Dalal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone, Masaba Gupta and Rani Mukerji will reportedly also attend the ceremony.
The baby shower will be held at Sonam’s ‘Maasi’ Kavita Singh’s bungalow Rockdale in Bandra, Mumbai. This is the same place where Sonam and Anand got married in 2018.
Meanwhile, Sonam has also had a baby shower in London. She shared the pictures on her Instagram handle and captioned it as “It’s all starting to look real! This baby is on its way now and I am so grateful to @eieshapp for organizing the best welcome party ever, bringing together so many of my favorite people and loving and blessing me in the most generous and beautiful way.
Sonam and Anand are expecting their first child very soon.
