Fashion designer and actor Masaba Gupta married lawyer-actor Satyadeep Mishra on January 27, looked stunning as a bride

Fashion designer and actor Masaba Gupta celebrated her wedding with lawyer-actor Satyadeep Mishra in a stunning bridal lehenga. The wedding was an intimate and private affair celebrated in the presence of the immediate family.

Masaba looked stunning as a bride in a #RaniCore lehenga from the custom house of Masaba. Each and every part of her bridal look matched Masaba’s charming and fiery personality. Weaving in her love for art, Masaba’s wedding outfit was surely an ‘art is where the heart is’ moment.

Masaba Gupta’s pink barfi lehenga was teamed with two dupattas, one lime green and one pink.

Inspired by artist Manjeet Bawa’s paintings, Masaba posted a picture of herself standing next to one of his paintings, writing on Instagram how his work inspired her bridal line, saying, “Shringaar’ – marriage stability ka Celebration is, movement and balance..like life and Manjeet Bawa’s work which has been a huge influence in my life…and this artwork provided the inspiration for my bridal line.

Looking radiant in a pink and lime green combination, an unconventional palette inspiration for brides-to-be, the ice pink ‘paan patti’ lehenga was paired with two dupattas. The lime green dupatta with wallflower print had a sequined border and the rani pink dupatta draped over the left side shoulder was embellished with open hearts.

Masaba wanted to include a Chand Tara inspired by South Indian hats as part of her hair accessories.

The highlight of this state-of-the-art lehenga was the custom border that featured the Masaba motif – palm and bird for the first time. Iconic prints celebrating the ethos of Masaba were beautifully embroidered in gold on the sides of the lehenga. Explaining the thought behind the print, Masaba said, “The custom border features the first ever Masaba motif – ‘Palm’ and ‘Bird’, which celebrates the union of tradition and freedom. It is a nod to That women can believe in the institution of marriage yet still follow their heart and speak their mind freely.

Masaba accessorised her bridal look with some jewelery from her mother Neena Gupta. Thus adding royalty to its overall form. Keeping her hair neatly tied in a bun, Masaba accessorised the hair with bejeweled motifs. “I wanted a customized ‘Chand Tara’ inspired by South Indian hats because the Sun is energy – the protector and giver of life. And the different phases of the Moon affect us in ways we don’t even recognise. We are driven by nature And are energized by it. May we never forget it,” Masaba said.

To complement his beautiful bride, Satyadeep exuded royalty with a captive Masaba Barfi pink kurta and pajama set from the custom house. The couple’s dreamy pictures were captured by Stories by Joseph Radhik, who has become a household name in celebrity wedding photography. Neena Gupta, who looked happy and radiant in a Masaba ensemble, posted a picture of herself and her daughter on Instagram. Sharing her joy, she wrote, “Today daughter got married, heart mein ajeeb dekhen, joy, gratitude and love umada hai, sharing with my friends.”
