Maruti Suzuki Invicto bookings to start from THIS date!

New Delhi: Indo-Japanese automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki Toyota is gearing up to launch a re-badged model of Toyota Innova Crysta called Invicto in July. Earlier, there were reports that it would be named “Engage”. The official bookings for this three-row MPV will start from June 19, 2023. The new Maruti Invicto will be the costliest car from the company and is expected to cater to SUV and MPV buyers in the premium three-row segment. Like the company’s Grand Vitara, the new Maruti Invicto will also be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant.

Powertrain:
The Invicto MPV will be based on Toyota’s TNGA-C architecture. It will be available with a 2.0L strong hybrid engine producing 183bhp and a 2.0L petrol engine producing 173bhp. It will come with E-CVT gearbox and CVT automatic transmission. This will be the company’s first automatic only model.

exterior design:
In terms of dimensions, the new Maruti Invicto will be similar to the Toyota Innova Crysta, but some changes can be seen in its exterior design. From the spy images, it is clear that the model will feature a trapezoidal grille with chrome bars, a redesigned front bumper, LED DRLs and alloy wheels.

features:
No major changes are expected in the interior design of the new Invicto. It will be equipped with 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, 9-speaker JBL audio system, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control. control, and ADAS technology. It will get 6 airbags, traction control, ABS with EBD and ESP along with three-point seat belts for all passengers. It will be offered in 7-seat and 8-seat configurations, with the 7-seat model having two captain seats in the middle row with an ottoman function and the 8-seat model having a bench seat.

Competition:
The new Invicto MPV will compete with the Mahindra XUV700, which gets both diesel and petrol engine options. It will also have ADAS technology.
