Maruti Suzuki Ignis Prices Hiked in India: Now RDE-Compliant With Added Safety Features

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is an underdog – the hatchback is one of the most practical buys in the market. It sits below the Baleno in the company’s line-up, which is retailed through the Nexa chain of outlets. With the new RDE norms coming in, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis has now been updated to comply with the new emission norms. In fact, the Ignis’ motor is now E20 tuned. The company has also updated the hatchback’s feature list as it now gets Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and hill-hold assist. Of course, the prices have now gone up by a small margin. An average increase of around Rs 27,000 has been made across all the variants.
