Karan Johar has officially announced the release date of ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The film was earlier tentatively titled ‘Mr’. Lele’. KJo took to social media to share the posters of the main three stars. While Vicky and Bhumi will play a married couple, Kiara will be seen as Kaushal’s on-screen girlfriend in the film.
‘Govinda Naam Mera’ release date revealed
Directed by Vicky Kaushal, the film will hit the theaters on June 10, 2022. Karan Johar shared a post on his official Instagram handle with the caption, “Meet Govinda Waghmare! Heart of Gold and the dance moves are bold! Introducing #GovindaNaamMera, where there will be unlimited laughter, confusion and chaos! In cinemas on June 10, 2022.”

Vicky, who is enjoying the success of ‘Sardar Udaam’, will be seen as Govinda Waghmare in the film. He shared the first look poster on social media, which has instilled hope among the audience.
“Tevar hai jhakaas, dance hai first class, par life? Life hai ekdum chaos! Meet me – #GovindaNaamMera only in cinemas on 10th June 2022.
Hey wait, meet my comrades in crime! Stay tuned!,” Vicky’s post read.
Interestingly, Vicky has previously worked with Kiara in ‘Lust Stories’. He shared screen-space with Bhumi in ‘Bhoot – The Haunted Ship’, which released last year.
